Wool

Description

General

Elastic, not susceptible to dirt and grease, good heat- and electricity-isolator. Shrinks in water above 30C.Poor resistance against bases. Not inflammable, self extinguishing. Easy paintable. Three basic wool types: - Merino (50-100 mm length fibers) - Cross-bred types (75-200 mm length fibers) - Carpet types (150-400 mm length fibers). Fiber composition: 50% carbon, 24% oxigen, 16% nitrogen, 7% hydrogen and 3% sulfur.
