Siver fir is cultured in Europe and imported from Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg. The transport to the Netherlands requires 500km by trailer on average. The annual production is between 6 - 16 m3/ha/y (average 10) depending on specie and region, at a growth cycle of 80 years.
