Reaction Bonded Silicon Nitride [Si3N4 - RBSN]

Description

General

Price largely depends on the geometry of the product but is approximately 5 or 10 times as high as steel. RBSN stands for Reaction-Bounded Silicon Nitride. One advantage of the reaction-bounding process is that the original dimensions of the silicon compact remain virtually unchanged during nitriding.
