With their integrated lithium-manganese, high-performance battery, the Travel motors are the only electric outboard motors which do not need a battery connection.
The Torqeedo Travel is a true lightweight: with a total weight of 12kg including battery, it is asserting itself on the market as the lightest electric motor by far.
The Travel models are the only foldable outboard motors available on the market. They come in a waterproof travel pack and, hence, are unique with regard to their transportability. With their dimensions of 310 x 320 x 450mm, they can easily be stowed away on board or at home.
Together with the Torqeedo Cruise models, the Travel models are the most efficient motors around at the moment. Their efficiency is up to twice that of the conventional motors. ( Output power and Overall Efficiency)
Further Torqeedo Travel plus points are its integrated battery level indicator, the continuously forward and revers drive, the streamline-shaped, high adjustable shaft and variable, telescopic tiller.

Last november was a memorable month for us at Matbase, we passed the milestone of 1000 visitors per day. So I guess we were not that far of when we thought it would be a good idea to make the material database we used as students during our stay at the Delft University of Technology accessable to other people. Apparently, people appreciate the easy way they can lookup the material properties and how we present the data.
