Environmental remarks Larch is dominantly imported from Northern America, where it is cultured. The transport to the Netherlands requires 250km vice versa forest-harbour by trailers and 6200km by ship. The annual production is between 4 - 12 m3/ha/y (average 7) depending on specie and region, at a growth cycle of 60 years.
