General

Remarks PLA can be made by fermentation of starch containing agricultural products like potato (waste), rice and alike. The degradation time is 18 to 24 months. PLA copolymer is a blend with glycolide/lactide ratio of 85/15 which has a moderate crystalinity and a degradation rate.
